Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Jul 21, 2014 12:35 pm Hi All, First post here. Currently in the process of doing some major house renovations with the kitchen being one of them. So currently I have been cooking with Gas since forever and current kitchen is connected as Gas but after reading reviews online (watching you tube demos) I am leaning more towards the Induction Cook tops. IRenovating the kitchen from laminate to white marble bench tops, poly doors, soft close mechanisms etc and will be going for a very modern clean look. So along with the style, I like the cleaning and safety factor also associated with Induction Cook tops. My husband however was told by the cabinet maker that you should stick to Gas and he would only get Induction if your home didn't have the Gas line already connected which of course ours does. I would really like for us to both see demonstrations (does Harvey Norman, Winning Appliances, Good Guys etc? - are they hooked up at any so you can see for yourself? - we are in NSW near Camden If anyone could weigh in about there experience wold be great. I myself am eyeing a Bosch Induction Cooktop, have had there dishwasher for 5 years with no dramas and the reviews sound great on the cooktops and pyrolitic oven.. but need the DH to agree as well.. Re: Induction Vs Gas - Help Please 2Jul 21, 2014 1:47 pm We had Bosch induction in our last 2 Builds. We have gas in our Reno. I much prefer induction for ease of cleaning. It was so quick to heat up and turned itself off, 4 10821 I want to build a decking to the drawn shape outlined in black. The problem is how close can I build to the gas hot water unit? Will I be able to build around it and be… 0 20224 you need a fridgie to answer but I would think you vac the whole system then add gas if you have a leak, unless it is new install with the gas already loaded, in that case… 1 3656 |
