Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 May 15, 2013 10:04 pm Hi, my landlord has agreed to install a dishwasher into existing cupboards if I buy it. The space between the chosen cupboard is 57 cm, most dishwashers are 60cm. Is there any way to shift one of the cupboard's walls without a major renovate? Or am I stuck with an expensive, poorly performing slimline? Thanks. Re: Dishwasher install into existing cupboards 2May 28, 2013 3:50 pm You can try the Bosch built in compact dishwashers. While the outside width is 600mm, they're actually designed to be built into a standard 60cm cabinet frame (which usually has an internal width of about 560ish mm). But the height is shorter than standard dishwashers so you might need to put a drawer or something else for it to sit on. Is it already set up for a dishwasher, or not? Are you, or landlord, paying for a plumber? Does it need cold water tap + waste pipes etc.? Electrician ? (if no power point there, already).
