I am hoping someone can give me some advice on rangehoods suitable for an induction cooktop.
I have been advised via E & S Trading that you must have a super powerful rangehood for induction cooktop. I have already been working with a kitchen designer and plan on liftup cupboards over the cooktop and an integrated rangehood - going for a very streamline look. My dilemma is the rangehood - I am currently looking at a Sirius SL906 Excel 850 with airflow of 2000m3/h around $1700. I would like to get the AEG because I am buying an AEG induction cooktop and oven and they have a current offer if you spend over $10k you get 10% discount. The problem is the AEG integrated rangehood has only 650m3/h and I believe this is not really suitable for induction cooktop. I would appreciate any advice. AEG also appeals as they have a 5 year warranty, Sirius only 3 and the AEG costs around $900 with discount.... so more to spend on other things! Cheers.
