We are looking at getting an Miele oven that you can buy the telescopic racks as an extra and was wondering if they are worth getting? Any pros or cons towards them?
TIA
Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances Re: telescopic runners vs normal pull-out racks 3Oct 01, 2011 8:47 pm We had them in the Miele oven in our previous house and they are terrific. It is so much easier to pull the shelf out from the oven so that you can easily pick up the hot pot instead of having to reach inside. We have just bought Miele again for our current reno and immediately bought telescopic runners with the oven. They run very easily and a very safe. Highly recommended. Our previous oven had them on all levels but for this one we've just bought one set. Re: telescopic runners vs normal pull-out racks 4Oct 24, 2011 10:38 am Love them!!! We just installed a new Siemens oven with them, fabulous! They are great for pulling out when you need to check a cake, stir roast vegetables, turn something around, and makes it so much easier to take something out of the oven, I don't know how I could go back now! I would definitely recommend them! Not sure of any cons but haven't had any problems with them and they have been very easy to clean too. Black on light wood does look good. Not sure if it will be as long lasting as a steel finish? 6 6349 Yes, get a builder, make sure he is experienced and a registered building practitioner 5 8959 |
