We went looking at dishwashers recently and came across - Hoover Dishwasher DDY095TX. It looks to retail at around $1000-1100.... Any thoughts? Basically we want: adjustable top rack for wine glasses etc quick cycle (even if they're not very good! ) quiet timer delay Our building thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=51657 Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 49Dec 03, 2011 10:23 am *********************** I never said you couldn't use the 30 min wash - This forum is to educate people. If you want to use the 30 min wash all day every day, thats fine I am just giving you the facts. I was purely stating that it uses more water and doesnt focus on soaking or drying. I am stating found facts from a professional point of view - I use my dishwasher every single day ****************************************************************** This post has been edited to ensure that the poster remains on topic. Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 50Dec 03, 2011 11:37 am appliance guru Would definitely disagree with a quick wash being AS good. Being happy with a Quick wash is one thing - Yet to say its better than the others is simply not the case. 'Yet to say its better is not the case.' ...well buddy, for my reality and dees it is the case. So stop acting like we don't know what we are talking about Like I said before...let's agree to disagree and move on. You disagreed with a quick wash being AS good, and that is cool.....each to their own Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 51Dec 03, 2011 12:22 pm Final by me,in the end user will determined what best suit then Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 52Dec 03, 2011 12:46 pm Ops meant to say final comment by me Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 54Dec 03, 2011 12:58 pm I have stating proven facts - You can use whatever wash you wish to use, I never said you couldnt or shouldnt I would personal NOT use a quick wash unless i wanted to turnover very lightly dirty items & was happy to dry them Glad to hear your enjoying your quick wash Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 55Dec 03, 2011 1:01 pm Sorry Carmel i am not being rude this is a forum and everyone has an opinion I simply stated a professional point of view with proven facts I would never tell people they cant use something - Each to their own Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 56Dec 03, 2011 2:09 pm sorry for hi jacking Eiffel question on Hoover, maybe appliance guru can give some expert advice Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 57Dec 03, 2011 3:21 pm Hi Eiffel, It has pretty good specs - Personally for build quality at this pricepoint i would still consider Miele, Asko & Bosch before it As this is a field that these brands specialise in - Hoover have recently changed their production lines (Not a bad thing) but would look at others at this price point. The Hoover is Inox (which is a cheaper material) and not Stainless Steel or Markfree Stainless Steel Eg Miele & Asko have some rare sales on their units bringing them down to a similiar price point Not at bad unit but would look at others at that price. Hope this helps Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 58Dec 03, 2011 7:15 pm POSTERS: Please ensure that posts remain on topic and refrain from making personal comments if someone does not agree with your point of view.
