Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 31Nov 30, 2011 4:33 pm Would definitely disagree with a quick wash being AS good. They are fine for quick turnover yet do not go to high temps, dont soak or dry. I have had used all 3 top end brands in Miele, Asko & Bosch and there was a difference in Quick VS Better washes Being happy with a Quick wash is one thing - Yet to say its better than the others is simply not the case. Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 32Nov 30, 2011 4:38 pm you are so right. My dishwasher does an awful job on the 30 min wash. Cereal stuck on the bowls, food still on the fish slice, my mistake, what was I thinking! Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 33Dec 01, 2011 1:08 pm Haha thats fine i thought it was weird. The cereal stuck on will struggle at a 45 degree quick wash (30 mins) Yet on a high degree wash which will also include soaking will get it off perfectly. AG Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 34Dec 01, 2011 2:50 pm although, like I have said in my last 3 posts, it doesnt but we will agree to disagree (30 min cycle on the bosch lifestyle machine, really is a good experience people, TRUST ME!! ) ok, moving on....... who else has something to add re a dishwasher?. Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 35Dec 01, 2011 4:47 pm kiwi you are so right. My dishwasher does an awful job on the 30 min wash. Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 36Dec 01, 2011 4:51 pm l think kiwi is taking the mickey out of you,omo Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 37Dec 01, 2011 5:29 pm If that is the case anyone can be a smartass - And everyone has an opinion Yet a pure fact is that a QUICK WASH WILL NOT do as good a job I should know as I test for manufacturers Re: Dishwasher - what to consider when buying pls ? 38Dec 02, 2011 7:27 pm Interesting discussion here people! These days I use the 30min quick wash on a daily basis in my Blanco dishwasher because it is as GOOD if not BETTER than the longer cycles for the dishes I need to wash. I'm talking about general dishes such as cutlery, crockery & glassware and lightly soiled pots and pans. I have tried all cycles on the machine in the 12 months I have had it- and this works for us!
