Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Aug 01, 2011 12:28 pm I would like to hear others' views on 900 mm gas cooktop vs 750 mm gas cooktop. My current one is 900 mm with 4 burners, positioned like the top part of a hexagon. I have decided to get Westinghouse gas cooktop (due to budget constraint). Was getting 900 mm Westinghouse GHR795S (http://www.westinghouse.com.au/Product? ... 9B3C35212C) but may now (unfortunately) have to consider 750 mm Westinghouse GHR775S (http://www.westinghouse.com.au/Product? ... 9B3C35212C) to get slightly more bench space. To those that cook often with woks, could I get your views please. (I often do stir frys and use woks quite often) Woks are usually around 30-32 cm, the wok burner on 750mm Westinghouse GHR775S is at the left front. When we cook/use the wok burner, do you think the wok protrude out much ? Also, if your cooktop is 750 mm, do you get 900mm or 600 mm rangehood ?? thank you. The large wok burner is on the outside which is perfect. It allows for the wok and 2 other pots to be going at the same time. The cooktops with the large wok burner in the middle are uselss. You can only have the wok on with these ones.
