I'm planning on installing an induction cook top (Blanco BIC64) and have been told by a sales assistant I CANNOT install an under cupboard range hood. The sales assistant says the fact that induction cook tops cook cold creates more condensation and a canopy or retractable range hood will be needed. This will completely change the design of my over head cupboards. Currently all over heads are 650mm above the bench. This is about the height of my nose so a pull out or canopy range at this height will be bothersome. Since I don't really want bothersome in a new kitchen I'd like to know if the sales assistant is correct and anyone else's experience installing and using induction with different range hood options. If anyone has put in a simple solution to this problem I'd like to hear it also.
