Money well spent IMO. Also i think all of the mid range are 4.0 star water rated min anyway. $1500 will get you a mid range Bosch with features of other brands high end ranges. Re: Recommend me a dishwasher please 4May 30, 2011 10:38 am AGREED!!! I have a bosch. I love it. I had a fisher and paykel dish drawer before that. And over 2 years I replaced the motor 3 times.... the dishwasher repair man said they are keeping him in business!! :/ Building with Life$tyle Homes in Perth SOR Key Dates on First Page of my Thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=38761 Re: Recommend me a dishwasher please 5May 30, 2011 12:18 pm I had an Asko dishwasher for about 17 years and replaced it about 18 months ago ... with another Asko. Fantastic machine, only ever had it serviced once I think. Some of the parts on the Asko machine have a 25 year warranty - not sure what other machines have, but I thought that was pretty good. Re: Recommend me a dishwasher please 6May 30, 2011 12:22 pm Im torn between the new Bosch dishwasher as well but a friend of mine just bought the new LG dishwasher and loves it. It has the extra cutlery draw, whisper quiet AND HAS A 10YR replacement warrenty on the motor. She too was going to buy a Bosch but ended up going with the LG and saved $600 as she got the LG dishwasher for $900. So now I dont know.lol Forrester 43sq We have our keys (3/6/11) Now it's time to decorate (that's the fun part.lol) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=37598 Re: Recommend me a dishwasher please 7May 30, 2011 12:37 pm 10 year replacement is pretty good!! I wish fisher and paykel had that! Friend of mine bought an LG Fridge and dishwasher and both have been replaced 2 times in 5 yrs. One of my bosses has a different LG fridge that was replaced 3 times in 2 yrs He ended up telling them to give him his money back or he'd take action for all of the ice he had to buy and food that went to waste + his hourly rate for all of the call outs and stuffing around. They caved. One of the best things about Bosch, Miele, Asko is they have very low fault% on top of normally doing a bit better at the intended job. I bought all my kitchen appliances on the weekend - with the discount was able to upgrade to the next models up Re: Recommend me a dishwasher please 15Jun 13, 2011 9:05 pm Mrs P, how did you get that price? Did you bundle with other items or was it just good haggling? I am not sure how to haggle on these kitchen appliances because I don't know what a good price is. Yours sounds like a great price. Re: Recommend me a dishwasher please 17Jun 15, 2011 11:12 pm Im moving house soon and the new place doesnt have a dishwasher but has the cavity and plumbed etc. I have a white LG that's 4 yrs old in this place we just sold, and works great but looking for a stainless steel look this time, so it matches the oven. I see this week that Good Guys has a Bosch dishwasher for $687(less for cash) Bosch SGU55E15AU is 14 placing, 4 star WELS rating and 13.6 L/wash,5 programmes . could get the extra warranty since its much cheaper than other Bosch's. has anyone used one of these dishwashers? I probably really only want to spend around $1000 since will only be in the house for a few years. Edit:local shop in my area had a closing down sale, so bought a stainless steel LG dishwasher and saved $335...just have to move house to be able to use it hehe the cheap bosch is a built-in dishwasher but i wanted a freestanding one. Re: Recommend me a dishwasher please 20Jun 28, 2011 3:33 pm Mrs P Ive been using mine for a few weeks now and really do love it. It is whisper quiet, cleans really well and everything comes out dry I installed the same model bosch into my kitchen my self and fired it up and thought something was wrong,it is so quiet Even now i still check to see that it is working,i walked into the kitchen raided the fridge for something and walked back to the lounge room and thought "hey didn`t i turn the dishwasher on earlier"? So i went back and checked and yep it was on,silently humming away. Awesome I am installing a new Bosch SMU4HTS01A built under dushwasher. I have 2 questions.
