Hi
We are about to renovate our kitchen. I have never done this before, so I've never had the opportunity to buy what I want
I think the flooring should be done first, then choose appliances, then the cabinets get designed and made. Would I need to consult a kitchen specialist before choosing appliances??
From a brief research, the following brands seem popular.
* dishwashers - Miele, Asko, Bosch
* stove/oven - Bosch, Smeg (seems to be a hit or miss)
* rangehood - I have no idea about this one, especially since I saw someone in one of the threads saying that theirs was $2400 and it's a brand I'd never heard before.
* splashback - how do you choose the type?
What other brands are good quality? Are there specific features that are good to have?
I am thinking that a budget of under $6000 for the lot. Under $5000 would be better. I am hoping not to compromise on the quality. I need everything to be easy to clean and maintain.
Is it best to go to an electrical store and see the deals they have or is it better that I pick and mix what I want?
Thanks in advance.
