Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Feb 21, 2011 9:09 pm I am having a hard time finding out information about this-but what I understand is that most induction cooktops can not sustain all 4 burners being on high at the same time or the load is too much for your system. Hence, if you had all 4 on high the stove will auto-reduce the power to 2 of the burners to reduce the load. A salesman at a large shop was trying to convince me that as a result of this, that the only brands to buy were the ones that didn't powershare. But honestly I would never ever have 4 burners all on high at the same time. So is this power sharing really an issue-can anyone shed some light?! Thanks Re: Induction stoves and power sharing 2Feb 22, 2011 8:42 am Are these using a 10amp plug or 15amp? Perhaps 3 phase would be an option for induction cooling? We're getting 3 phase for Air Con so if Induction is wanted later maybe we can use it for that too? Re: Induction stoves and power sharing 3Feb 22, 2011 5:57 pm I agree, four burners on full power is something that you would only do once in a million years. Maybe longer. Demolition August 2009, Construction Started September 2009, Completed December 2010 Re: Induction stoves and power sharing 8Feb 22, 2011 9:15 pm I got this one, http://www.electrolux.com.au/node38.asp ... 7902,27657 the main reason i got is because all 4 are high powered. Some brand you need to move puts around to use the high power. This is more flexible. Re: Induction stoves and power sharing 9Feb 22, 2011 10:33 pm I can use high on all 4 areas of my induction stove (but it uses a 25A plug). They are on two different circuits, so I can only boost one on the left and one on the right simultaneously, with the other two zones off, or have the two left zones on, and boost the single right zone (and vice versa). Would also like an opinion from anyone that has used xcem over hebel for floors.
