Well its time to get serious about getting my kitchen done-I really want a gas cooktop and oven so mite have to steer towards freestanding-I just find gas more economical and have always cooked with gas so electric I tend to undercook or overcook! My friend has a Smeg freestanding 60cm that she loves but not sure if they make them in all gas anymore-all I can find online is Westinghouse and Emilia-does anyone know a good gas oven to buy?I only wanna spend up to $2000 and are all pullout rangehoods really noisy? I cant get a canopy one coz my kitchen is very small, thanks!

Can't help you with the stove question but I'm told Miele and Bosch make the quietest pull-out rangehoods. Apparently the German brands are quieter than the Italian brands. But that's just me quoting a salesperson and a joiner.
