ranghood is this legal 3Dec 16, 2010 9:06 pm As far as I am aware there is no legal requirements for venting rangehoods. In fact you don't even have to have rangehoods so it would be pretty hard to legislate ducting. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: ranghood is ok 12Dec 20, 2010 12:10 pm Your rangehood must NOT be vented into the roof cavity It must either be recirculated into the living space via a charcoal filter setup OR vented to the atmosphere outside of the living space via a flue system Re: ranghood is ok 14Jan 31, 2011 7:31 pm do you think its a good idea to recirculate the rangewood air back in the house? any idea on how much it might cost to have it ducted all the way to the atmosphere considering that the house is a double storey and its getting built on the boundary? |
