The temperature controls are very responsive so it heats quickly and you can get a perfect simmer. It has a 'keep warm' function too. Ive found the magnetic controller pretty easy to use. Its also very easy to clean which is a bonus! We got the 70cm which is fine but I almost wish Id got the 90cm - it did seem really big though, so I guess it depends on how much cooking you do. I think it was $1000 more so that was a deciding factor too! HTH Re: neff induction cooktops 3Jan 17, 2011 1:09 pm I currently have an electric cooktop which is near its end of life. Do you know how easy it would be to replace this with an induction cooktop? Is there any installation other than plugging it into the current electricity? Do you need to purchase special cookware or will I be able to use all my current stuff. Thanks Ilana |
