Just after your wonderful advice - again! Have been investigating the 60cm ovens, and can't decide between the two. Siemens are 63 litre capacity and offer 5y warranty, telescopic shelves, and eco clean. Smeg are 60 litre and 2 y warranty, no fancy shelves, pyrolytic and at the moment with a promotion offer a free microwave. Both are within $100 of each other (quote from E&S) best price yet for the Smeg, so not sure which to go with! Haven't used both before, so just interested in feedback please Thank you!

Very surprised that a similarly specced Smeg oven is within $100 of the Siemens.
Anyway, Siemens is the better oven by the length of the straight. If you want to see the standing of Smeg in the kitchen world, pop over to the Whirlpool forum. My mother in law has a new one. Crap product, tinny, uneven heat, lightweight. Go the Siemens, you will never look back.

Personally I wouldnt go with either. There are much much better value for $ out there.
I've had bad experiences with Siemens products before. Only went because hubby is a mad Roosters supporter and they support the roosters. But never again. Have had SMEG oven. Good oven. Not worth the money though.
That is only my opinion though
