Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Aug 06, 2010 8:58 pm Hi all, I'm in that limbo period where the kitchen is still 3 weeks away from delivery, the old one has been pulled out and sold, the paint colour is picked and all the major appliances have been taken care of. So I'm now a bit bored and starting to think about kettles, toasters etc. I have been looking around and I've taken a liking to the Morphy Richards Memphis toaster in Red and the matching kettle. Has anyone got a Morphy Richards kettle and what do you think of it? Alternatively does anyone know if anyone else makes a red kettle/toaster? I'm looking to inject some colour and a bit of fun into the kitchen. FYI our cupboards are New Antique White, CS Walnut for the benchtops and I'm looking for a latte colour in a rectified tile - well at the moment anyway.... I look forward to your reviews/suggestions Cheers KK Re: Appliances - kettles and toasters. 2Aug 06, 2010 9:06 pm Delonghi have good toasters and kettles too. If you look at "what you brought today" thread you will probably see my toaster there. It'll depend on how much yo want to spend. Toasters can range from being very cheap and plain looking to super expensive >$400. I guess you'd have to love your toast for this and one would hope it automatically applied your spread. I got a Morphy Richards kettle-lights up blue when switched on and you can see the water boil. I love it.
