Re: Rangehoods - Wall-Mounted Canopy - Is Glass Good ? 17Oct 25, 2007 8:37 am I have a stainless steel rangehood at home.
The best way to clean it & remove grease is a spray of diluted cloudy ammonia (4 parts water, 1 part cloudy ammonia). You can buy it from the supermarket for about $3. If the grease is really stuck on - like on the fan - I hadn't cleaned it for 5 years - I put on gloves, sloshed some cloudy ammonia on a damp cloth and it wiped straight off. Better than any other stainless steel cleaner I've ever used. Hello everyone, I have a question regarding moving a chandelier after it has been mounted.
