Hello gurus,
I was hoping for some feedback please.
How much are De Dietrich appliances? Induction 90cm, canopy range, 60cm pyro oven and a dishwasher?
What's the quality like?
Are they comparable to Miele or to Bosch/Neff etc?
Thanks
BOzza

Thanks BOzza Re: De Dietrich 2Apr 03, 2010 8:43 am We had De Dietrich induction hob & Pyro oven and they were brilliant. No issues at all. Where have you seen them? I wouldn't mind getting them again for the new place. Re: De Dietrich 4Apr 03, 2010 2:39 pm My parents just got De Dietrich throughout their kitchen (induction cook top, wall oven, steamer) and they absolutely love it - the sales service from De Dietrich has also been awesome - the sales guy offered to come over and cook them a full dinner to show them what functionality it had (seriously!!). It is pretty expensive stuff but if you are passionate about cooking then I think it is the brand to go for (Our budget doesn't stretch that far so unfortunately we won't be able to have it in our new place ) Mel - jumping in feet first to my first owner build!! I don't mind at all, they are Blackened Linewood - Laminex. Re: De Dietrich 8Apr 05, 2010 8:42 pm We looked at the de Dietrich range and were impressed, however they appear to only be available from Clive Peeters who has an appalling record amongst our friends and relatives for poor pricing and charging for goods not delivered [less expensive CPU type than ordered and charged for in a computer and incorrect, lower model DVD player than in the order and charged for] so we went with Teka (induction stove), Schweigen (rangehood) and Miele (oven) and think they are wonderful. The stove is soooo easy to clean and cooking brown rice takes a fraction of the time - the water keeps boiling when the rice is added. That's something because our family eats lots of rice when we have it. Pfiff Finally making progress again, with a clothesline (yippee) and some much needed little things being attended to over the holidays. 40 C on New Year's eve? We love our a/c! Re: De Dietrich 9Apr 21, 2010 9:54 pm I have DeDietrich so far under warranty i have had my microwave repaired a new steamer oven a new coffee machine, a button just fell off one of my ovens and a new basket in my dishwasher and my induction cooktop is making some crazy clicking noises. This will make up your mind ring up DeDietrich and tell them one of your appliances has failed and you need to get it fixed .After being put on hold for about 15mins they will get back to you with a couple of numbers for you to ring so you can organize the repair yourself .Of coarse the service guys would never of heard of the brand DeDietrich before so you will call back the service centre and they will try and get you a couple of other numbers to try.I will go miele next time Re: De Dietrich 10Apr 21, 2010 10:01 pm hello all, after reading everything on here, i ended up buying demo models on grays for a fraction of the price. the dishwasher i got has scratches and dents on the front panel - i rang DD and they gave me the name of a spare parts person - rang them, and no problem, part can be here in 2-3 weeks. a bit pricey but even with a new door, still a bargain. so thanks grant98 for the good advice. maybe it's who answers the phone on the day?? i have heard that clicking noises on induction cooktops are a result of the saucepans used - more steel/less aluminium, less clicking? i heard ikea ones work well... b ps we got a 93cm cooktop, dishwasher and rangehood (canopy, industrial strength with 2 mototrs, but low decibels for $3,500 incl buyers premiums and gst!!! our budget was $6k so we can now afford a full priced miele (ok adding a few $$ to the leftover $2.5k i admit !!) our $6k budget was based on electrolux appliances so we are over the moon. |
