Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances Re: Westinghouse vc Ariston 2Oct 26, 2009 3:40 pm It's hard to judge. Ariston might be a bit better since it's made in italy and it's a very established brand in europe and some other countries. But once i was told by someone from uk that Ariston in uk is like Chef in australia, a very common basic brand over there. Re: Westinghouse vc Ariston 3Oct 28, 2009 10:16 am Our last kitchen had an Ariston d/washer and we loved it. So much so that our new kitchen appliances arrive today, stovetop/ranghood/oven/dishwasher, all by Ariston. Four wheels moves the body, two wheels moves the soul. I got the shock of my life when my wife mentioned that she'd like to park a car in the garage. Re: Westinghouse vc Ariston 4Oct 28, 2009 11:28 am Hi, Thanks a lot for your reply....I was also thinking of going to good guys this weekend and check with them if westinghouse is better than ariston....I wud say as of now, have heard good things about ariston Re: Westinghouse vc Ariston 5Feb 07, 2010 8:40 pm Your friend in the UK is dead right about Ariston. It is the chef/westinghouse in Europe. Difference is European kitchen appliances are miles better than ours. Their products work because their tried a proven. Years of history. What do we have here in Australia. 200yrs of history. I'd have italian appliances and cooking any day of the year before australian Re: Westinghouse vc Ariston 6Feb 07, 2010 11:33 pm Perhaps a little negative about Australian products? Electric kitchen appliances haven't been in existence for 200 years. The fact is Australian brands Chef and Westinghouse do really well in Choice Magazine tests. Why do some people think European appliances are magically better than Australian products and keeping the jobs in Australia? Re: Westinghouse vc Ariston 7Feb 09, 2010 2:57 pm We've had ours installed now and they're all working perfectly. We wouldn't recommend anything else to anyone on a budget.
