Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Oct 02, 2009 3:14 pm I'm undecided over getting a glass canopy rangehood or the solid looking one. I need a 60cm one as my cabinet maker has already drawn up my design and I can't change it now! I'm having overhead cupboards on either side of the rangehood. The ones directly on either side will be glass cupboards for wine glasses, etc. Then to the side of those will be solid overheads. What type of rangehood do you think would look best with this setup? Also, at what height do the cupboards usually sit in relation to the bottom of the rangehood? I really like the look of the 70cm glass canopy one, but I only have room for a 60cm (the 60cm glass one looks teeny!) so I'm wondering if it's possible to get a 70cm one and position the cupboards slightly above the sloped ends of the glass? If anybody can help me out with photos of their 60cm canopy rangehoods (in either style) with overhead cupboards, they might help me make up my mind as to what to get! Thanks!!! Re: Please show me your 60cm canopy rangehoods! 4Oct 04, 2009 2:00 am Not to worry, I spoke to my cabinet maker (aka uncle) and asked if he could squeeze in a 70cm one in the design. He said yes, yay! So I bought me a 70cm glass canopy one today, luuuuurve it!! Re: Please show me your 60cm canopy rangehoods! 5Oct 04, 2009 10:24 am I agree your canopy looks great, very swish. (seen it in the "we did good thread"). Perhaps you are getting no sleep dreaming about it, see you are up at 2am. Are you lucky enough to have an electrician, plumber and tiler in the family as well? I love it too I'm in Perth so it was probably around midnight when I posted Unfortunately, don't have many handy people in the family.
