Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Aug 21, 2009 4:52 pm I am doing a major remodel and am replacing my kitchen and my ceilings in that area. At the moment my kitchen does not have external venting for a rangehood. My new rangehood will be externally vented. My question is in what order are things done...put in new kitchen, cut rangehood hole in ceiling, tile back splash where rangehood is, install rangehood and do external venting... The person who is doing my kitchen is a cabinet maker and will not be installing the appliances and my plumber said he doesn't install rangehoods...who should I get to do what when? I am so confused... Re: Rangehood questions 2Aug 21, 2009 5:47 pm We are doing a flat pack. We will be installing all the cupboards first, then putting in the appliances, getting the tradies in for gas and electricity then installing the wall units and the slide out rangehood.
