We have been leaning towards Miele..but wondering if there was another brand that might be better value for money... Hi Inspired The overall performance of the Miele ovens, along with their other appliances made our mind up quite easily. At the end of the, we are going with their fridge/freezers, ovens, cooktop and dishwasher - basically all kitchen appliances other than our downdraft extraction hood are Miele. This was also better in term of accessing Miele's discounts! The Miele agents here are also very very good in terms of supporting Miele and just generally in post sales support. My parents have had a Miele cooktop, oven and microwave for over 30years and never had a problem...we made the decision to buy Miele because we never plan on selling this house we're building and will hopefully never need to buy a new oven, etc again! I have no doubt there are other very good ovens around, which are possible 'better value' and in some cases, probably perform even better, but for us, Miele won hands down! Easy to use, outstanding performance and built to last forever! Hope that helps We too are going Miele in our new kitchen, and like BuildingACT picked this brand due to renouned good quality, both in the product itself and after-sale service. I have spoken to people with this brand and they are all very satisfied. It is very pricey, my husband nearly had a heart attack when I first broached the subject with him, but after his own research he was all for it, even suggesting we go for the steam oven in addition to the combi oven... - I can't wait to get in our new house and to be able to use all my new products..!
