Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances 1 Sep 06, 2021 3:22 pm Every builder provides a different brand of Kitchen appliances. I have checked with almost every project builder and some custom home builders as well. By these appliances I mean - Cooker (cooktop/freestanding - gas), Canopy Rangehood, Oven, Dishwasher and Microwave. Some of the most common brands are: 1. Westinghouse 2. Technika 3. Electolux 4. Smeg 5. Bosch 6. Fisher & Paykel 7. Miele 8. DeLonghi Any recommendations for someone who is looking to build new house and selecting the appliances brand? Thank you. We have gone induction cooking this time for cleanliness and ease of cleaning, plus we have heard its better, hoping this will be the case lol. They do have sales every now and then and bought direct from a Miele shop. They know the product so much better. Our builder will install for us. Thank you. That is really helpful. Once we get the place done and passed for OC we can upgrade in the future once we get back on our feet and not paying mortgage and rent. 4 5725 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17581 Assuming the structure of your cabinetry is good then I would DIY everything as follows: - replace your counter tops entirely, - replace all drawer runners with soft close… 1 4782 |
