I’m happy to go ahead with the repair, however once it is up and going again, are there any parts in the steam system that may have corroded over this time? Obviously I’d run a descaler through it first, but I’m just not sure about the internal parts of steam ovens or whether there is a risk of any corroded metals or plastics could end up in the steam circuit that would contaminate food?
