Kickboard- Brushed Aluminium Walls- Dulux 'Whisper White' Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Benchtop- Caeserstone 'Cashmere' Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Splashback- White glazed tiles Cabinetry- Gloss vinyl wrap COLOUR TBA I need help with the cabinet colours- OPTION A- I can go totally pure white to match the splashback and break up the other colours in the house as we seem to have picked all shades of brown! OPTION B- I can go for an off-white with a bit of a brown tint in it that is closer to the whisper white wall colour, but not so close to the splashback tiles. I really can't tell if the pure white will look nice and clean or if it will look too stark. Will the off-white tie all the other colours together or will it make it all a bit 'same-y'? Help! Has anyone used a real white and did it look good? Re: Kitchen cabinet cabinet help needed 2Sep 07, 2008 12:16 pm Hi archeobabe,
I think the off white to match the Whisper White walls would be fine. You have enough colour in your benchtop, so it won't all look same-y. This is all opinion of course, I am having all white kitchen so I am not one to put lots of colour in ... perhaps Mich will come in and advise you soon. BTW we are having glossy white vinyl wrap in polar white - I think that is a pretty 'real' white? Not up yet though so can't comment on what it looks like yet! Re: Kitchen cabinet cabinet help needed 3Sep 07, 2008 3:42 pm Archaeobabe….Whisper white has a very slight touch of lemon to it.
Very slight!!!! I think the white doors will look great. I got some samples last week of Polar White, White and Ash White. At the Laminex showroom they had Ash White with the Cashmere, I was amazed at how white it looked, yet when you put the 3 colours together Ash White looks to have a tinge of green/grey in it. The Laminex White is not so stark and would go nice with Whisper White, I am holding the "White" sample against an art work I did in Whisper White now Re: Kitchen cabinet cabinet help needed 5Sep 07, 2008 7:02 pm I have heaps of kitchen pics saved from various web sites and thought this one might help you with your decision

The second option 'Gloss Pearl White' has a very slight tint to it so may be a better match to the Whisper White. The picture SuH posted is kind of the look we're after, with a slightly less dark benchtop. I will definitely check out the laminex 'white' as it sounds like what I'm after for the laundry.
