Laminate is hard to stain so you are wise in the stone decision. You don't have to worry stains are my fortae(sp) on walls. We managed to stain our walls and ceiling with red wine spurting out...... I just spoke to the cabinet maker and chose the Pure Mineralstone. It only comes in the Diamond Gloss finish but doesn't cost any more apparently. Don't know why I thought it did! After I hung up the phone DS asked me who I was talking to and why, I told him the kitchen man so I could tell him what colour we want our kitchen to be. He said, GREEN please!!! He must like lime green too. Anyway decision made - thanks for your help guys. Re: Help! Diamond Gloss is just another finish which Laminex have - it's very hard and glossy/shiny. I would've preferred the flint finish but it's only the WIP. Don't worry I never got explained any of this either, had to find it all out myself (still don't know what abs edge is?). Next time I reckon I would get 2 pac cupboards too. 1.
