Hi Michelle,
do you think Wattyl Exotic Night will look good on two of these walls where there is wallpaper in the picture with Chalk beige as contrasting colour on other two walls.

will look forward to ur reply and sydney was good, beautiful weather and lots of rest. fun and beer...lol Re: Wattyl Exotic night 7Sep 01, 2008 7:25 pm Homeishome…..what a stunning colour!
It’s also very dark, I think on both walls will be too much. I would suggest behind the bed only, by doing the one wall and all other walls in your Chalk will give the Exotic Night more of wow factor. You could then use accents in the Exotic Night with cushions on your bed and throws…if you can find them in that colour. I had trouble finding some for my purple wall. You could have a lounge or ottoman made up in the purple also. What window dressing are you thinking of using in this room? and thanks for advise thats what i was worried about as well (being too dark) will let csc know that now i want it only on one wall. Thanks Havent thought of window dressings yet, any suggestions? Re: Wattyl Exotic night 9Sep 01, 2008 8:24 pm Depends where the room is situated in your home.
If it’s in the front you should keep all window dressing the same from street view. I thought some nice timber blinds or shutters; they will look really good with the Exotic Night and your Chalk Dust. But again it depends what you are doing throughout. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Wattyl Exotic night 10Sep 01, 2008 11:11 pm oh, i just love timber plantation shutters, but i think they are too expensive.
the bedroom is at the back of the house, so the windows will be facing south. So..... Re: Wattyl Exotic night 11Sep 01, 2008 11:17 pm HIH are you have chalk beige all through your home? What colour for trims? Happy at Home Re: Wattyl Exotic night 12Sep 01, 2008 11:25 pm Hu HTB
yes, i am getting chalk beige for overall walls, with flokati trims. hope it turns out to be fine. But yes, Mich has given her approval, so i am relaxed about that now. Re: Wattyl Exotic night 13Sep 01, 2008 11:35 pm Thanks. We are also having Chalk Beige all through. Our trims are going to be Chalk Dust though. I loved this combination in all the displays, hope it's okay in my house. Our feature walls downstairs are Cumberland for two walls in the HT and Glendive on one wall in the Lounge Happy at Home Re: Wattyl Exotic night 14Sep 01, 2008 11:49 pm Just had a look at chalk beige and chalk dust combination and it looks great. we are having Noccino for all four walls in HT room, and Exotic night for one wall in the bedroom now (as suggested by Mich)
Also pulled up swatches of Cumberland and Glendive, and i think Cumberland will look amazing in HT room due to its darkness . Did you actually see cumberland being used in any display or did you choose it randomly? |
