Forum Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Feb 12, 2017 3:08 pm I am looking for a grey to use on our internal walls that is dark enough not to look white, but not so dark that it will make the rooms dark. I don't want the colour to throw to blue or purple or green, but don't mind it a bit greige. I keep coming back to Grey Dusk by Taubmans but I can't find any photos online where people have used this colour paint. Has anyone here used it? We used brume 1/2 in our house. It's a little bit griege. Re: Taubmans Grey Dusk 3Feb 14, 2017 3:41 pm I went to our local Bunnings for some paint cards and couldn't find any of the colours I've shortlisted. I did manage to find Cloudburst inside the Whites and Neutrals brochure. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I think the Cloudburst might be a bit too beige and maybe a bit too light? For the sake of anyone else searching these colours I'll list them below too. As colour is relative, so it if you have a grey wall and blue flooring your walls will look grey blue iykwim. ![]() Re: Taubmans Grey Dusk 6May 27, 2017 11:04 am I decided to get 2 sample pots and paint up the colours Sidewalk Grey and a darker shade called Silvertone Grey. I moved the plasterboard around the house so it represented different lights and times of the day (one was just with artificial light). The walls in our rental are a bit warmer than the samples and slightly darker. The house we are in is also quite dark and doesn't get a lot of natural light (the living areas face north east and have small windows). The lighter coloured photos were taken in areas that face west, in the afternoon, which will more accurately represent what our living areas will be like.
