I have 3 boys, too mudtrilogy (and a girl, who kind of may as well be a boy, except that she loves to wear dress ) and I don't think it's too "girly" - just b/c it's a flower! I think it looks good - and it's kind of a "neutral print", if that makes sense! I like it! The blue is showing quite bright in the photo but picture itself is sort of a faded blue so the main colours are the browns which I hope will go with the frieze colours, the background tiles are mottled stone and walls are stone. It is a 3 way bathroom, I don't have a photo of the actual bathroom with the bath and shower, pic is going on the blank wall above the towel rail, but tiles are the same as on the vanity as shown here. Colours worked well and they looked terrific. They were those little mini type frames. No idea what
I'm going to do this time and they won't suit the colours/ decore at all in the new house. I guess the mirror will be garage sale material once we move and the frames hmm may not even make that. ATM the mirror is still boxed from our last move. Re: framed pictures in bathrooms? 26Aug 22, 2008 8:22 pm Helyn, I saw some nice vases in the target catalogue that would compliment that very nicely........Very nice combination of colours Re: framed pictures in bathrooms? 27Aug 22, 2008 8:26 pm I didn't see your picture before Mudtrilogy - it looks great - it ties in with our cupboards and gives the bathroom a splash of colour

I want some for our bathrooms and yours look like great quality My karma ran over your dogma Re: framed pictures in bathrooms? 28Aug 22, 2008 10:12 pm haywgl I didn't see your picture before Mudtrilogy - it looks great - it ties in with our cupboards and gives the bathroom a splash of colour Can I ask where you got your plantation shutters from? I want some for our bathrooms and yours look like great quality I was just going to say the same thing.... I love the shutters, they look great in your bathroom. There's something about shutters in bathrooms, well I'd love them everywhere to be quite honest Did ou buy them as a kit, where you stain and fit yourself? I've seen this online. But I have a 1000 count sheridan white doona and I like to vary the cushions throws etc. And with this on the wall neither the pink nor the blue cushions worked. I would have had to stay with brown. Thats not what I'm after so looking at a texture wall paper now.
The plantations are artwood in silk white and from http://www.interluxdesign.com/ in Berwick. From memory the two bathroom cost approx $2K but in my opinion well worth it. And both bathrooms have large windows and the main has 2. I love the blue pics and there was some stunning vases in the same colour. Re: framed pictures in bathrooms? 33Aug 23, 2008 8:13 am Oh and cleaning them is a breeze. Simply shut and wipe. Because they are solid it makes it easy to press hard and clean not like venetians Regardless of wall hung toilet or floor pan toilet your feet will be right on drain, seems to me the waste should not be in that location given the design.
