I am building a new home on a small acerage in qld I want to place a colourbond shed for the boys first than build the home I do like the dune colour for the house roof after reading all you q&A .Walls are render undecided? I like the off whites/ grey whites with lighter shades of dune mix in there ie. gargage & entances and may be surfmist garage doors possible light grey window trims. THe question is what colour do I do the shed I don't want to it to stand out what do you think of Dunne walls and roof will it be to much I don't like the way they put different colour doorson sheds I want the house to be the main focus not the shed as it will be ivisible from the driveway beside the house just not level with the house (set back a little) We do have alot of trees around for the back drop hope this sets a picture any help would be great Re: Colorbond shed colour 2Aug 12, 2008 10:19 am Hi and welcome to the forum.
We are in the process (well we have ordered just waiting for it to be ready) of getting a shed. We chose the colour to compliment our house - so I think if you had a dune roof, then a dune shed will be fine. We have gone all the same colour, but was advised by the salesman to do the spout and barge in a contrasting colour to break it up. Hope this helps. I have just helped with a new home in QLD, we used Bushland for the roof and Dune for the walls. This choice came about from the amount of trees on the property, and I wanted the roofline to blend in and not stand out. Possibly this would be a good combo for you?
