Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Aug 06, 2008 10:38 pm I want to do some feature walls in the house we are building.
Its not up to plaster yet so I have no photos, but have included a plan I'd like to do one in the lounge/family room and one in the formal lounge, at a minimum. I was thikning the wall on the bedroom side of the house. As the family room is next to the kitchen (like one big room) I've included the kitchen colours as well. Internals: Ceiling /Cornice - flat white Walls - wattyl id 'sierra snow' Skirting / Architrave - soft blush (wattyl finishing touch 2004) Windows / Reveals / Frames - Doors - soft blush (wattyl finishing touch 2004) Window Treatments - is this blinds? Matilda Holland charcoal Floor Tiles - tilestar ncifn0102a millenium black Carpet - carpetcall marasco drumbeat Kitchens Splash Back - kefton 13247 100x300 Bench Top - wilsonart ebony fusion Cupboard Doors - parbury loft oak overhead Cabinets - parbury pearl bisque Drawers - parbury loft oak Kickboard - parbury slate grey I generally go for muted colours and was looking at such colours as: wattyl - pomp, seductress, matahari, gauguin, dirty denim Id be interested in other suggestions though if you have any. Most of your walls have doors. The wall in the formal lounge has no door, but it juts out from the robe in the bedroom. I would be interested to see what other think also because I don't know. Paula Re: feature walls 4Aug 08, 2008 8:26 am actually i think I definitely want to look at changing wall and door/skirting colours. I have had a play ont he wattyl website but cant come up with anything
Could you suggest something that would match our other colours? Building in manor lakes 2008 Re: feature walls 6Aug 08, 2008 8:39 am thanks. Seductress is stunning and will look great with the blacks and greys. I just picked up some new brochures yesterday; the sierra snow is in it. Nice colour! But I can’t find the rest! Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Good day everyone, I have two queries regarding stacked stone style facade feature tile installation. 1. I am looking for an installation price guide to install stacked… 0 9715 I always picked up a colour in the curtains to avoid a clash. I also found that darker tones of any colour added impact which is the whole point of having a feature wall. 3 8375 Oh no! I would use a can of expandable foam ( there are some that will take render) then cut it back and render over the top 1 10890 |
