Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Apr 23, 2016 1:39 pm Need to choose an exterior colour for our new house - We will be having charcoal modern roof tiles and I really wanted a nice light grey colour but Hubby wants a light cafe latte colour - So we are going to compromise and choose a colour in between. I have made a list and done my homework on a lot of colours...and so far the top choice is a Dulux colour called SANDY DAY Any help or in put would be greatly appreciated Re: DULUX colour that is grey/beige? 2Apr 23, 2016 5:31 pm Have a look at British paints colour of Stone chip. It's a greyish stone colour. We have it internally and love it. Re: DULUX colour that is grey/beige? 3Apr 24, 2016 7:22 am We are using beige Royal half strength. My friend has the full strength on her walls and it is def a grey/beige. I ended up going into dulux and buying a sample pot of both and painting their a4 cardboard swatches. I also about all the similar colours I liked as I don't want the paint to look pink, yellow or even too grey. Really anything other than grey/beige. And am very happy with the advice given Our Acreage Build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=82619 Re: DULUX colour that is grey/beige? 5Apr 25, 2016 7:44 pm Have a look at Oyster Linen. It's a warm greige but a little deeper than Sandy Day. Deeper again would be Linseed. Pipe Clay is a little lighter and greyer than Oyster Linen from memory. All are Dulux colours. Re: DULUX colour that is grey/beige? 7May 10, 2016 7:35 am Still no info on "SANDY DAY" on this thread....My cousin has used Linseed on his house - and it has tinges of green at times, so I didn't want anything that throws green. I also want to stick with DULUX paint Re: DULUX colour that is grey/beige? 8May 10, 2016 11:41 am I gave you info on Sandy Day in the other thread - that some people see pink, some peach, some neither. I also gave you info on the other thread that any brand's paint colours and colorbond colours can be mixed into Dulux paint - you don't need to stick with Dulux colours. I've really tried to give you as much information as I can, you seem to be opposed to buying sample pots to check out the colours properly at this stage, so I'm honestly not sure what other help and advice you're looking for. Good luck finding a colour. Re: DULUX colour that is grey/beige? 9May 10, 2016 5:03 pm Ok...so I was just told that Buff it and Sandy day are more brown than grey... Was also told that Beige Royal is more of a warm grey based.... Has anyone got photos or had any experience with Beige Royal?? I don't wanna get sample pots as yet 'cause I have nothing to paint them on...and it's still early days...So gonna continue doing my homework on the Dulux colour range Re: DULUX colour that is grey/beige? 10May 10, 2016 5:04 pm Also....was told that White Duck is nice too as it's a warm grey Hi Alex, Thanks for the reply again.
