Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Mar 22, 2016 10:59 pm Hi all I've posted these in my owner builder thread viewtopic.php?f=38&t=74417 but I thought I'd put them up here as well to get your thoughts... please be gentle as this is the first time I've done any kind of interior design! Please also excuse my shocking InDesign skills KITCHEN MASTER BATH DINING FAMILY ROOM LIBRARY / CIGAR LOUNGE (seriously, that's what Wonky calls it!) As you can probably tell, we're going for a rustic country vibe with soft greys. Our Dulux colour palette is: Main interior wall colour - Ghosting Trim - Lexicon Quarter Feature - Monsieur Master Bedroom - Pale Earth (a bit dark but it will match some flocked wallpaper we found perfectly) Office & Guest Bedroom - Tranquil Retreat Looking forward to your feedback! Thanks so much deejay08! I honestly didn't realise how much I loved the industrial touches until I saw my pulley pendant lights and HAD to have them! We're even painting our oven black to match lol Re: Mood Boards - please be gentle! 4Mar 23, 2016 12:05 pm I love them! The rustic shelving looks amaze too! Black ovens look schmick....and very vintage. I'm copper crazy at the moment so will be adding small appliances in this. We are using light oak timber look tiles to the bathrooms too. Lots of dark grey feature walls (so moody!) and oak flooring. We are custom making our dining table too! I'm hunting around now for reclaimed timber and my son inlaw is a boilermaker so he's making the black metal frame...if i can find enough timber we'll make a coffee table, the stand and side board too for the adjacent family room. I love the idea of our family adding one offs to our modern newly built home to add character exclusive to us...pretty cool touch. When does your build start?
