Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Mar 21, 2016 10:15 am Hi, I'm looking at painting my house soon and have painted a few rooms in Dulux Vanilla Quake and have found that to have a blue quality to it now that I've had LED downlights (bright vivid white) installed - which is not something I'm happy with. To me the colour is perfect during the day or when it's lit up by a warm yellowy light, but currently it's looking pretty blue to me. I've accepted that I'm just going to have to paint over it and hopefully get it right the next time. I'm looking for a neutral browny/gray ish colour and am thinking that Pebble Grey or Limed White Half could be the go. Has anyone encountered any blueness to these colours when lit by cool white LEDs? I'm going to get some sample pots and paint what I can on the walls but I'm not 100% sure that will be enough to give me a feel for how the whole room will look. Thanks. Re: Looking for a greyish neutral 2Mar 21, 2016 2:24 pm I really like Mud Puddle, it is a brownish grey - not sure if it is too brown for you. The lighter version is Dreyfus, lighter still is Linnet. Puppy and Loophole are also brown greys (these are all greys, just with warmer tones). Good luck! My blog: tashandpaul.wordpress.com Hi team, Im looking for a second hand sd4b monitor preferably white. 0 8923 Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6886 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13446 |
