Hi all, I'm new to this forum and joined because I have a burning question. Hope I'm posting it in the right place.
I have a desk that has seen better days as the laminate is gone. Instead of buying a new desk, I'm thinking of covering the surface with strips of washi tape (specifically, MT Tape for those of you who are curious). As it's my computer, writing, crafts and sewing machine desk, what should I use to seal the tapes and make the surface more durable? Should I use decoupage glue, varnish or shellac, and if so, specifically which type or brand? I need it to be easily applied by myself and low in odour as it's in my bedroom.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
