Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jul 19, 2008 12:52 am We had our prestart on Thursday, however we went to the tile shop an hour beforehand to write up our tile order... and were told we had to change our bathroom and ensuite tiles! Our floor tiles were 200mm but our wall tiles were only 198mm (even though they both say 200) and it meant they wouldn't line up properly!?!? 10 minutes of panic ensued, but we kept the cabinets and floor tiles the same, then chose a wall tile and new feature tile to match. Unfortunately all of the new tiles are an upgrade

I don't think I could have done it. Gee you might not be far behind us as all then. And to think we started way back in march/april and didn't get prestart until june.
We've got the same window frames and gutters/facia as you. But the rest of your sellections are quite different . i can't wait to see it all come together. I've said b4 I think that i really love your colour ideas for the inside of your house. I look forward to seeing lots of photos. Who is your Housing Consultant? B? or someone else. All looks good, very complementary to each other, the externals look good also! Make sure to post photos as you are building. I've had a few fleeting moments of stress since prestart, but I'm not letting myself change anything! Just waiting for the final costings to see how much more it is going to be for the pre-start changes I never realised how many decisions you have to make. Hmmm... do I want round or square floor wastes in the bathroom? I've added a pic of the kitchen too because I think the tile and laminex samples don't do it justice. I copied the laminex of the cabinets, the bench colour and handles from a 'rival' building company's display. (The main difference with ours will be the lack of glass tiles for the splashback ) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hi Everyone, wondering if anyone has done a prestart lately with summit homes in WA and what kind of costs were associated with adding gpo's and downlights? we are also… 0 3262 I work with owner, he/she is my man on the ground and I instruct them when to visit the site and take photos and I have other tools in the bag. 4 9667 I am in the same situation, would you be able to give some insights in to this?
