Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Nov 08, 2015 8:07 pm Hello We have chopped and changed colours a few times already for our front render. Originally we picked Dulux Mudpack and Caveman, with monument garage/gutters etc, but i decided they were a bit too dark. Now we have settled, for now, with Charcoal Light and Heifer. Then we will have Wallaby for the garage door and dune for the windows/gutters/facias. Has anyone used any of these colours on their facade and can share some photos? Keen to see what the wallaby garage would look like. Im also thinking that heifer may be too white as that will be the colour of most of the front. Thanks Re: Render Colour help please - Greys 2Nov 10, 2015 4:38 pm NicNak, I have charcoal light render as a feature render with surfmist as main render. Our fascias are surfmist and gutters are basalt (to match the roof). Our garage will also be surfmist. We have done the main render not the feature render, so I cannot show you how charcoal light will look. If you are in Sydney the Metricon Vaucluse on display at Kellyville homeworld has charcoal light render. I like the way it looks a nice grey with no blue tinge and not too dark. However feel free to check out my thread for the facade photos (illustrated) I have posted. I am not sure how Heifer looks, but if your are after a light render I would highly recommend surfmist. You can also use New Home Visuals (http://www.newhomevisuals.com/home-visu ... on-orders/) to do a mock up for your if you give them your facade plans and colours. Good luck viewtopic.php?t=78985 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7170 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3275 Hi Alex, Thanks for the reply again. I had a chat with the builder, he said he will use primer, then hydrotec which comes with colour and sealer as well. A Renderer I… 12 18098 |
