Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Oct 23, 2015 10:30 pm Was convinced we were putting the tv on back wall and couch facing it just across from the island bench, and a dining table at other end of the room ( near sliding door) but now We are unsure and thinking a nice piece of art on the back wall and a buffet under it and dining table across from island and the to on Wall near sliding door with couch against the window, just wondering what everyone thinks would be best?

You could still have TV lower and art above unless wanting seriously large screen. If you have the out door area set up as dining, then if you have larger numbers, one dining area could be the kids table, the other the adults. What is best for you depends on how you intend to use the space (and rest of house) and for how many people and type of people, taking into account space constraints eg on dining table size or sofa size.
