Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Oct 10, 2015 2:03 am Hey guys, I've recently gone through my colour selections and chosen all of my tiles, however now that I've had time to think it over I've starting doubting my choice! haha I've gone with 'odessa latte' from crosbys for the main floor tiling. Will this date quickly? Will it go well with 1/4 hogbristle? I'm going to have 3000k warm downlights too so I'm unsure if it will make everything look too beige/brown? My original choice was for a nice dark grey gloss tile but I couldnt find anything at the time! HELP! haha Kitchen cabinets will be graphite gloss with crystal salt essastone and a deep red splashback Link to my build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78344&start=20 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ free upload My build with FHBD viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78344 Re: Opinions - Main floor tiling 2Oct 12, 2015 11:40 am Welcome to the madness daz. I have been talking to my friends who recently finished build and they think that generally when everything is completed tiles look a lot lighter than you thought. This is due to improper lights at the shops. So go with slightly darker shade if u want Re: Opinions - Main floor tiling 3Oct 12, 2015 4:46 pm Looks good to me... keep your floor tiles as low impact as you can. This will help other selections be the more dominate in a space. Meaning.....your floor should not be the most important thing to look at. As long as it works well with all your other selections, and it should, focus on the big picture.
