What a great guy
How I would have loved an option like that for our kitchen
I think splashbacks are the HARDEST decision in building

I'd rather the rest of the build have gone easy but you can't have everything in life . Keeping a sense of humour is vital whilst building . Thank god for this forum. Re: The dreaded splashback question 104Aug 30, 2008 8:32 pm Hi DeeElle. I know your dilema on the whole splashback caper, as I am having the same problems, if you want some time out of your kitchen confusion, then go look in the kitchen corner forum and have a look at mine
. All opinions are welcome. I am now in week 3 and still undecided on what colour to choose and its driving me crazy!!!!!!!!. Im feeling your pain cheers Rachael p.s love your kitchen! Re: The dreaded splashback question 105Aug 30, 2008 9:33 pm rachael
plum colour for your kitchen for sure. greys to plum will look great .. terrific in fact. darker the better IMO. Re: The dreaded splashback question 106Feb 08, 2009 7:56 am Mrs B I still say that this silver by ‘chelle is the most stunning (even though its photoshop) I love the red but I think the silver goes with the overall feeling of the house. It will be much easier to accessorise the kitchen as any colour will go with it. The black...no from me It’s your house Dy and you have to live with the colour...silver or red will both look gorgeous Mrs B One thing to note about the silver in the showrooms (I wanted that choice too! but will follow her in the black splashback now) is that it reflects the colour of the benchtop and needs good lightning to truly show the silver. I saw a champagne glitter (silver with glitter) in a showroom and it looked dull when the benchtop was grey. So if you had a white benchtop it would sparkle but with a darker benchtop it risks looking dull grey without a great light source! You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want. Cabinetmakers use MDF because its cheap… 2 9971 |
