Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Jul 09, 2008 12:30 pm Morning Michelle!
You are the kindest person on the forum and now I need your help too! (I think all posts in this section starts with this words, but when its true, its never too much of good words I have colors for the walls and right now I need to make kitchen selection. Im without car because of one ..... .... (bad and negligent) driver and can not take any samples, so you are the only one who I can hope for. Lets start I have main walls color - half of orange MADORRI (Taubmans brand), and feature wall is full grey OTIS (Taubmans). I thought it would be half as well, honestly I dont like SO dark color, but I was in rush, because car was borrowed and it was Bunnings (because it was sunday, I've lost my car on suturday and REAL paint shop was closed). So right now Im here. Im think if I have VERY grey with light orange room, I want VERY orange benchtop with light grey doors kitchen. I have two orange chips - ENERGISE(Formica) and MANDARIN(Laminex). Im more with Mandarin (: And I dont have any grey chips, kitchen makers send me some names from Formica range - Indian Sage Mist Grey Opal Grey Seal Grey Which of them is closer to the OTIS hue? And maybe you can advice some oranges different to mentioned above? Hope you can help me, you are really my last hope... Thanks Jane Re: Very orange kitchen 2Jul 09, 2008 2:11 pm Hi Jane,

I have the Madorri colour, but can’t find the Otis in any of my Taubmans colours!!! I’ll try the website, but from memory it doesn’t show any of their colours……I’ll be back!!! Now worries…..I work right behind the Taubmans centre in Nowra, I’ll duck in there tomorrow and pick up the Otis. Then I can tell you which grey goes best with it!!! I had a very disappointing day. Now where to start! I called into my local Taubmans dealer, very close to where I work, bad news one is, he didn’t have anything in the shop that was the Otis colour!!! OMG! He said it is an old colour from Taubmans and should be in the old fan deck of theirs. Ok lucked out at the shop. Bad news 2 - He then told me he was closing down next week!!!! Double OMG! Now I have NO way of accessing Taubmans colours what so ever in my town! Bad news 3 - Came home to look in the old fan deck of Taubmans that I have……and it’s not there either! So at this stage…..I have no idea what the Otis looks like, and because the clever people from Taubmans have the worst website on the net compared to all the other paint companies……I can’t access colours that way either!!!! I am unable to help you now Jane and I am very sorry for that! Now I am about to put a post up about Taubmans!
