Thought I might as well start my own page. A little different to how I used to do things here.
But this will keep my info all in one place for you all.

So... after 20 years in business I find the most questions asked are about colour.
Some people just can't get a happy decision with their partners on who wants what, and who's getting that "what"!

Colour can be a hard element to get right, especially the tone and shade of the colour you are looking for.
If you learn how to use the gradients of colour you will soon know how to choose colours confidently.

My Saturday project -

My bathroom is the only room in the house not renovated, along with my flooring.
Saturday I decided to make a bath caddy.

2 planks of treated pine cut, stained with a bamboo tray glued to the boards. - Done in 20 minutes.



One of my old string bags now hung off the shower with my soaps in it, good storage saver.



Now ready to spoil myself again.



TIP..... you don't have to spend an arm and a leg on decorating, you just need to think outside the square.

I'm about to embark on some concrete work, how fun!!

Has anyone worked with concrete, show us your handy work....

Thought I would share with you all a project I was a part of that was finished just before Christmas.

I'm currently on holidays, and this is the only real time I get to focus on my own home and styling, or in this case a re style.
After a reno on my kitchen and dining room 3 years ago I thought it was time for a new look to my sideboard.

After - This is an original retro sideboard, one of my best finds at the second-hand shop!

LOVE holidays at home...

Here's my latest fun project, I was lucky to be able to get my hands on a medium size real so I used it as a table for my outdoor light on my deck. I left it in its raw form, still has the staples in it.
Bella, my cat had to give it her seal of approval first.

Decoration and design tips 1 - When putting your room or work space together you need to remember a few of things.

1) Create a space that makes YOU feel comfortable and relaxed. Its important to walk into a room and straight away feel the "ahhh" moment!

2) Don't forget to add "key" elements to that room. These will include a "Point of Interest" items. Something that draws the eye as soon as you enter the room and is a dominate feature.

3) Keep the theme flowing....

If you can manage this, your home will be not only the space you love, but exciting as well.
