Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Apr 30, 2015 3:26 pm I have a space in my entry about 1.5m wide by either 40 or 60 cms deep, I just can't decide what to do with it! Initially I had planned some built in cupboards and our builder has included this in our quote, to store bags ,shoes & coats etc. in. Now I am wondering if we are better off going with a bench (to sit on and put shoes) with hooks for coats & bags and a shelf above. I think it would be hard to do both, most of the benches I can find are 80-100 cms wide which would only leave space for a very narrow cupboard. What would you find most useful? Re: How to use entry space? 2Apr 30, 2015 3:35 pm Hi ajansen, whereabouts are you? Think about what you normally do when you come home. What is most useful for you? We are in Queensland so we're never coming from the cold with wet heavy coats etc, so a coat cupboard isn't useful to us. I am wanting to put a console table that I can drop keys, mail etc on and maybe have some art or a mirror or something. Of the two options I'd go for the bench and hooks personally, because I think it has the most utility, but also it could end up looking very messy and cluttered.
