Software for creating mood boards / Room decorating

Hi

Has anyone found any good software on online application for creating mood boards or being able to put a room together with your own pics?

Thanks
I use a program called SmartDraw - Its from the States. Not cheap, but can do everything I need

If you find a free one let me know!

Here's the moodboards I have created

I've used Polyvore and find it's OK. You can add your own pictures or find inspiration from their catalog.

I wrote a tutorial on it:

I've created a free ebook you can download - how to create a mood board using free software. It's super easy & you'll be super organised

Let me know if you like it

Nice job Melina!!

I'll be checking it out myself.
I use an app on my iPad called Moodboard Lite
I just found this online room builder.. I haven't tried it out but I've seen other people be able to use their own pictures.

I use Photoshop and InDesign (graphic designer).
HOWEVER, these are just tools and it's about what comes out the other end ...

You could also use Powerpoint, Word (YUCK) or even a paper scrap book, paint chips, fabric swatches, magazine cutouts/photos and glue. It's really about taking clippings of colours, textures, trends/looks you like and putting them together to see how they 'fit'. I reckon you should find it easy and fun so you enjoy the process until you find something you like ... It shouldn't be about the software, that will just kill the fun and inspiration you are trying to apply to find a look you like

Oil under boards before laying

General Discussion

I'm about to put down some Merbau. Is it necessary to oil underneath the boards before laying?
