Quote: Well thank god I can see the difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A comforting thing indeed. Imagine my thoughts when I asked a senior staff member of a paint store the other day re which colour they thought matched better and he said I dunno - I'm colour blind and he promptly put me onto the vischeck web site, - he can't even see the green tinge in the studio cream that I can see So his ws much much worse than mine. Jo K - goto the www.VISCHECK.com web site and up load the colour he likes intotheir web site convertor, and then you will be able to see that colour - LIKE he is actually seeing it. It's not acurrate, but will give you and idea. Beige isn't it Re: Jodhpurs Paint Colour and Timber Beams 43Jun 28, 2008 11:33 am [img]http://171.64.204.83/uploads/1214616398_orig.jpg[img]

Glad to hear you stayed with jodhpurs and painted the cornices white. Bet it looks great. I'm all for sympathetic renovating ... not everything modern is uber cool. Trouble is my water proof case only suits my now fuzzy image taking camera - so camera decision time again !! D - First coat of sealer is on - now 64 metres of timber to gyprock gap to seal up the black gaps And yes - sympathetic updates - that don't wreck the style of a place but don't leave it in the 70's like it was built. Pics once I've finished. Steve THanks , l got a licensed building inspector to look at the rust, he said its just surface rust and it would take many years to become a problem because the beams are so… 22 28223 if l cannot get a sandblaster would a sander with sandpaper be better then a wire brush 4 7432 |
