I like those brighter lighter colours I'll grab a sample pot tomorrow As an education process for anyone who may read this thread - a guy in the paint shop put me onto this program re how I see colours. Now I'm a bit r/g colour blind and this might help explain how I am seeing the colours - as to how you are seeing the colours. Original colours - as web samples from the dulux site. (Unless your'e colour blind too) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ FYI - both of these images look pretty similar to me Thanks Michelle. Re: Jodhpurs Paint Colour and Timber Beams 25Jun 27, 2008 8:42 pm Didn’t I ask you if you were coloured blind?
I was serious! It’s very difficult choosing colour for men, most men are coloured blind!!!! Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Jodhpurs Paint Colour and Timber Beams 26Jun 27, 2008 8:49 pm It's the women give it to us.
(They silently carry it and pass it on) We just show the symptons but we don't pass it on) For the record - it's not all men that have it. Quote: Roughly 8% of men and 0.5% of women are affected. Deutanomaly is by far the most common color vision deficiency regarding red-green color blindness. The other three types are occurring at nearly the same ratio and do affect about one out of 100 persons each. Men are approximately 100 times more often affected than women. This shows very nicely that red-green color blindness is a sex-linked trait as described in more detail at The Biology behind Red-Green Color Blindness. (They silently carry it and pass it on) We just show the symptons but we don't pass it on) If I remember my genetics correctly , men could in theory pass it on to their daughters (who become carriers) who in turn could pass it on to their sons, so don't try to blame it all on us women!!! (But I could be wrong, its been a very long time since Uni) 'chelle We have a hand-over date...15/10...but I won't hold my breath! http://people-in-glass-houses.blogspot.com/ Re: Jodhpurs Paint Colour and Timber Beams 28Jun 27, 2008 9:19 pm OK chelle - Lets get technical abou this

OMG maybe I'm colour blind as well - they both look similar to me!!?? Its just the studio cream that looks a little different (only a little)?? Paula Re: Jodhpurs Paint Colour and Timber Beams 33Jun 28, 2008 9:52 am Paula,
Best to do an on-line test as a starter. http://colorvisiontesting.com/ And if you are CB challenged - then run your own photo through this web site. http://www.vischeck.com Re: Jodhpurs Paint Colour and Timber Beams 38Jun 28, 2008 10:34 am haywgl Fewf! I'm not colourblind either, I thought the same as Paula - there wasn't much difference at all for me. Took the test and I'm ok It may be our computers not showing any difference?? Paula Re: Jodhpurs Paint Colour and Timber Beams 39Jun 28, 2008 11:02 am Might be my screen but the ones on the right just look a bit muted & have a slight green tinge????
Steve helped me out on a previous thread about this when my kids were picking out feature wall colours. I had already been thinking 5yr old son was colourblind & test confirmed this. He gets red, green & yellow mixed up. Will have to check out the colour he picked out to see how it looks to him!! THanks , l got a licensed building inspector to look at the rust, he said its just surface rust and it would take many years to become a problem because the beams are so… 22 28078 if l cannot get a sandblaster would a sander with sandpaper be better then a wire brush 4 7349 |
