Its the forum, I'm not receiving an email letting me know of replies to questions like everyone gets. I'm off to work now so I have no time to help you, I'm very sorry. At a quick glance of your colours, I would be a little worried about using the dark linear on all your cupboards. They are better as a feature, say on the top cupboards only and a block colour below. You could also use the darker on the front of your bench that faces out onto any room. When we went to the display home and we fell in love with the layout of the Paddington 31 that is there, we also fell in love with many of the colours they have chosen for it. Luckily they used pretty much every kind of colour selection that was part of our standard inclusions, which is sometimes not the case with display homes, so we were able to mimic much of the colour selection in the display home. Looking at the photo here of that display home, you can see the basic colours we went with: http://nsw.clarendon.com.au/homes/detai ... rettyPhoto On my blog, link is in my signature, you will find our colour selections as well. It looks like you're on the right track... but really, it's hard because once you make a decision the decision is final.. Re: Please help what colours to choose in our kitchen!!!!! 24Feb 20, 2015 11:08 am The reasoning behind my post above was because the colours you showed were very similar to our display home. I think we will the cream tiles should make it pop we also spent the $700 and upgraded the essatone to a much more whiter looking on..... I said I wouldnt but I did so much for budget kitchen I dont think I will regret it though new cairo was a yellowy beige colour. I really would have liked the waterfall edge though but at $1000 per side I decided to happily miss out. Only tile appointment to go would have to say this colour decision is one of the hardest things we have had to do we probably overthinked it though.... Hey sheffieldhunter, Did you look at any of the ceaserstone options? We went with ocean foam for our kitchens which was pretty white with slight grey flecks, we didn't want any beige/creams and I loved the essastone Sorbet but is an upgrade (I should have known), if that is the one you upgraded to then thumbs up from me haha Building the Lawson24 Land Registered-4/2/15 Admin Complete-1/4/15 Slab Down-13/4/15 External Complete-27/5/15 PCI-12/8/15 Handover-18/8/15 Re: Please help what colours to choose in our kitchen!!!!! 27Feb 20, 2015 8:53 pm HI There We originally didnt want to upgrade but we did we went with option 1 upgrade chepeast lol $700. Its essastone Torrone its the most recent release it has tiny grey flecks through it also and is pretty white. I was a bit annoyed as stone benches were included in our package and the way I view it is 1. Here is a gray tile it costs you $0 and is included 2. Here is a white tile it exactly the same material is cut the same prepared the same etc only difference is colour costs you $700 It is how they make their money though I guess..... The waterfall edges though are just ridiculous the pricing is pretty out there I guess though alot of people can afford it.. No for me though. Building the Sheffield 25 + 2 sq We are building a second dwelling and are currently selecting window and door frames. We want to blend into the forest and also bring out the stone work and the fake wood… 0 15933 I was being kind to the builder. With the amount charged for the upgrade the builder is probably charging closer to 100% margin. There are a few variables as I… 5 14314 |
