I think your colours sound great, we'll be going very similiar. Actually we're thinking about the same bricks! Did you see a house with these bricks? We haven't seen them on a house so we're a bit unsure. Actually we're thinking about the same bricks! Did you see a house with these bricks? We haven't seen them on a house so we're a bit unsure. Thanks Rachelle. We saw one house with the bricks but the house wasn't completed so not sure if it will look the same once finished. We wanted a light coloured brick and that was the only choice we had from the builder so we didn't really have a choice. Hopefully it will look ok together with the stone and render. Which colours did you choose Rachelle? Re: Michelle can you please have a look at my colours? 6Jun 21, 2008 12:48 pm I haven’t forgotten you dreamhome….my computer crashed yesterday at 3pm, I had nothing till this morning, then I had a consultation.

Roughly what colour is it? Garage door – I don’t have that colour in C/Bond???? Kitchen looks good Master Ensuite Bathroom looks good Power Room and Bathroom Looks good Laundry good also. Dulux Lexicon, nice colour, I just ordered it the other day for my presentation folder. It will complement all your C/Stone! Nice combination of feature wall colours there! Love your bedroom, that’s very close to mine. Ok... all the internals look great, just can’t get a grasp of the externals colours, can’t find them. Please let me know if you can't find it on Dulux Atlas, i can try to save it and upload it here. Colorbond garage door is a colorbond door with timber look, colour is caoba. Check this site http://www.pjgaragedoors.com.au/gallery.html it is the 5th from top on the right, looks better in real. Did you find the render colour? Re: Michelle can you please have a look at my colours? 9Jun 21, 2008 10:21 pm Michelle,
Here is the pony express colour: http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn28 ... sdulux.jpg Thanks again for your help Re: Michelle can you please have a look at my colours? 10Jun 21, 2008 11:11 pm Michelle,
Do you think the Austral Bricks - Nougat will blend in with a Natural Mortar? We were told by our colour consultant that we could only choose between natural mortar and off white mortar but the consultant told us that off white mortar is not the same tone as the nougat therefore won't blend in. We want the mortar to blend in so we have a clean finish seeing the mortar as little as possible. We were also told that the natural mortar can vary depending on how it is made, so i am getting a bit anxious about this... What if the colour is completely different to our bricks??!! What do you think? Re: Michelle can you please have a look at my colours? 11Jun 22, 2008 7:48 pm So your g/door is a timber look? Very nice!
What I have found with the Dulux Atlas site, it sometimes doesn’t register the name you put in….its happened a few times for me now! Thanks for the colour! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I guess with the mortar you better take her advice, if you want the mortar to blend; only she will know. I can’t help you with that, as I don’t know the mortar. ALL mortar can be different, depends who’s mixing it! Can she show you some examples to drive around and look at? All you have to do is try and sort your mortar out. To be honest…..it’s never been one of those things that are big on my list of colours. I feel once everything else in place the mortar will blend in. Good luck with it all. I will try and see if i can get some addresses with light coloured bricks and natural mortar to visit. Our builder hasn't built any house with the Nougat Austral Bricks so we won't be able to see exactly what it looks like. Maybe Austral Bricks will be able to give some addresses.. Re: Michelle can you please have a look at my colours? 14Jul 26, 2009 12:25 am Hi there dreamhome, We are currently choosing colours for our kitchen and are thinking about the same colours as you. Designer white cupboards and nougat caesarstone benchtops. Now that you have been living in the house, are you happy with these two colours and how they go together? Thanks. Re: Michelle can you please have a look at my colours? 16Sep 14, 2009 9:09 pm Angelblue The splashback colour sounds nice. Do you have a sample for us to see??? Sorry for the really late reply, haven't looked in here for a while. We weren't given any samples, sorry but it looks like a light brown colour with a shiny finish, keep an eye on my thread, will post some pics when it is in, might be a while before it is..
