Walls: 1/2 strength Buff it Feature wall : Possibly Blind date Floor: Flooded gum (rose gum) Shutters: Off white Now... we met with the painter today. He said not to have white for ceilings.! Our last place we painted the ceilings white and it didnt look too bad. He said it stands out too much?!! Our a/c vents will be white and downlights will be white, we want it all to blend in. Is this the new in thing?? To NOT have white ceilings. He mentioned white, but with a tinge of wall colour. Just not bright/stark white??! Now Im all confused again!!!!!!!! We're looking at colors (the current wall and ceiling color is Taubmans Abstract - which we want to change as we think it's a bit dull), and we want to use just ceiling white, and something like Chalk USA or Antique White, and let the timberwork in the house do the talkin'.
