Its supposed to be a true warm light grey with no purple, blue green undertones ? Hi sanjam...... Just found it, its nice to see old colours becoming popular. Yes it is a very nice LIGHT grey. It's a brown base grey, so very warm. I want a light bright theme without yellow or creaminess and something that will go with brown furniture or grey furniture/schemes. I would love your opinion Thanks! I want a light bright theme without yellow or creaminess and something that will go with brown furniture or grey furniture/schemes. I would love your opinion Thanks! Unfortunately I just looked through all my Taubmans brochures and I cant find those colours. Taubmans frustrate me so much with their colours and trying to find them. I do need to buy a new fan deck though, best do that this week. Really sorry!! You get to dress the room now and use warm colours to balance it out. Ah! This sounds like what I've been wanting to tell myself! We have ceiling white in the ceiling and lexicon 1/4 on doors and trims and we love it. Have darkish grey polished concrete floors and been looking for a neutral to cool white (warm starts to look a bit cream beige as in our open plan living area it gets lot of light), I think British paints star white goes nicely. And once we throw down the cow hides, have our darker sheer curtains and soft furnishings I'm hoping it will look modern and the fabrics will warm the space up a tad. Between that and British paints star white, which would you consider is a bit more grey, and would give more contrast with lexicon 25%. I'm tossing up between Caspar white half and star white are the two I'm considering. Also have star white 1.5 times as strong but I can't tell if it's more pronounced white or more grey. So it's probably no better than the normal star white I've tried comparing the dulux RGB values but have trouble comparing them to the British paints recipes! With Casper white I prefer the half as the full looks maybe a bit too much. And I don't want a Casper white to throw any sort of violet hues in its grey tinge in the rooms on the southern side with less direct light... Re: How to find the right "white" for your home. 31Aug 23, 2015 7:39 pm I went British paints star white full strength and love it. There is a contrast between that and lexicon. In our back rooms in the south it's a nice inviting white. I want to say warm but it's not beige or yellow at all, it's soft. And in the northerly well lit areas it's a nice white and I can't wait to hang art on it! Hi Michelle I'm a fan for Natural White and Vivid white as well, I wanted ceiling to be Natural white and walls and trims to be Vivid white, would this white blend nicely with my feature colour Timeless Grey? Also after handover planning on doing some wainscoting why I'd rather whiter white walls. And I've seen Dulux white it is nice as well. Thanks in advance Re: How to find the right "white" for your home. 34Aug 27, 2015 6:37 am Hi Emmz70, All those whites will work, they are very neutral. I don't want it to look creamy. I also don't want it to look blue (which a lot of the greys seem to do!). Is Casper White going to be ok? Or do you have any other recommendations?
